All is quiet
Not much has been going on in Yankee land the last few days. There has been a lot of activity in the hot stove but only mainly rumors in the world of the greatest team in sports history. Lilly, Zito, Hillebrand, Schmidt, Willis, Hudson, etc.
I cannot imagine the Yankees will go into spring training with a rotation of Wang, Moose, Johnson and a couple kids. They also need a little work in the pen.
I wonder what they will do at 1B? Phillips for another year? Giambi and open up the DH spot for Melky or Bernie????
I have to believe the Cash-man has a plan. 2 starters. Upgrade at 1B. Depth on the bench.
I heard Melky may be traded for Willis? Good idea? I am not sold on Willis being a force in the AL. Can you say Pavano or Beckett.
Zito has terrible numbers vs. the AL East. Will he use the Mets and Yankees to get a good from a West coast team?
