Where is the love?
I know this story is a few days old but it has been a busy holiday week. How can Jete be #2 behind Justin “The Rock Cat” Morneau???? Morneau was not even the MVP of the Twins team, that honor goes to Joe Mauer. Are the writes trying to make a statement and giving the ward to guys that are more hungary??? Webb, Howard, Morneau, not household names or guys making big bucks. Where was Carpenter in the NL CY Young? Pujols not the MVP of the NL? The writers should not be trying to make a statement but should vote for the guy that deserves the award. I could see Jeter losing out to Mauer but Morneau???? Take Joe Mauer off that Twins team and they are not a very good team. The guy is the best hitting and defensive catcher in the Al if not the Majors. Those are very tough to find.
I know Jeter cares more about rings than awards so I am sure he is not vrying in his beer. Plus he is too busy hanging out with Jennifer Biel. What I would not give to be that man for 1 day.
When and are the Yanks going to make a splash soon? Rumor has it Lee will be off the market soon which means there will not be any big bats on the free agent market. Will the A-rod talks get more heated in the next 2 weeks????
