That was a rough opening day loss. CC looked awful. Not sure if it was the weather or if he was trying too hard but 5 walks and 0 K’s is not good.
They then get to 6-5 and end up losing 10-5. I know there are 161 games in a season and 1 game does not make a season but a tough way to start the season. Good thing the team has depth in the rotation this year so there should not be any long losing streaks.
On a brighter note the bats looked good. If the teams can score 5 runs consistently they should be in a lot of games when there starters are on.
Wang goes Wednesday night. Baseball does not let you worry about a loss. Need to get back out there and play again and forget about the last game.
